It was nice to see a sea of green on March 17th in worship. But the heart “melters” were these three…

On Easter Sunday we will have a sunrise service on the patio. Ken Spafford reminded us of this: What’s Irish and stays outside all year? Patty O’Furniture. The Patty O’Furniture will be uncovered and fish, salmon to be specific, (or should I say pacific) will be served. And why not. In John 21:13,14 we read that the third time the resurrected Jesus appeared to the disciples he served them fish.
- That will be Sunday April 21, at 6:30 a.m. on the Patty O.
And don’t forget to invite your neighbors and friends to the Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 20th at 11:00 a.m. Help is needed to fill the 3,000 eggs being prepared so be sure to drop your candy donations off in the baskets provided.
- Make sure the candy is small and individually wrapped. Good ie. Tootsie Rolls
And while I am mentioning some dates… April 18th is our Maundy Thursday Tenebrae service at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
- Do you know why it is called “Maundy” Thursday?
Also… Don’t forget that on Sunday, April 28th… there will be one service at 10:00 a.m.
It is YOUTH SUNDAY. Be in prayer for our youth as they prepare to lead us in worship that morning. The men will be serving brunch both before and after Worship.
- So come hungry… for their delicious food, and for the Word of God.
