Worship

Due to high, and ever increasing COVID-19 positive cases, Sanctuary Church is CLOSED to in-person worship at this time.  Our prayer is that we can open and welcome our members, friends, and community back into the building sometime in January.  That date will be announced as soon as possible.

Sanctuary Church will continue to offer Sunday morning LIVESTREAMING on Facebook at both 9:15 and 10:30 a.m.  You are invited to join us using the following link:  https://www.facebook.com/sanctuaryumcnw/

Constant Contact emails are periodically sent out to anyone wishing to receive them.  If you are not on our Constant Contact list of contacts, please let us know.  You may email the church office at info@sanctuarychurch.org to have your email address added.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to open the church building while following CDC guidelines and keeping us all safe.

______________________________________________________________________________

Worship is one of our highest priorities. We believe that it is one of many ways in which we display affection towards God and experience his presence. While we engage in weekly worship experiences as a church, we also believe that worship is a lifestyle. And our goal is to provide an opportunity to lift up the name of Jesus and to be both filled and fueled for the week to come, so that we might continue through the week serving and worshiping his name.

Under normal circumstances, and our goal to get back to….

Traditional Experience

Our traditional worship experience involves hymn based music lead by our  organist or pianist.  There is a time of reading and teaching from the Bible. You may feel free to engage in worship as you feel most comfortable.

Contemporary Experience

Our contemporary worship experience provides an atmosphere to come to as you are to encounter Jesus through modern music.  There is a time of reading and teaching from the Bible. You can feel free to worship as you are most comfortable, from standing and singing, to sitting quietly in reflection. There is no right or wrong way to celebrate Jesus.

**We ask that those worshiping refrain from singing out loud at this time.  The CDC tells us that water droplets coming from our mouths could have the virus, therefore no singing as we strive to open while being safe.
